Captain: Mike Finnegan
Mike grew up in New England, living and working on the coast of Maine. His experience on the water began at an early age commercial fishing for lobster and Blue Fin Tuna. Since then, Mike has worked on a diverse selection of vessels including a variety of yachts, charter fishing boats, and commercial vessels. Mike's great passion for fishing has led him to fish both recreationally and professionally from Nova Scotia to the Hawaiian Islands. While working in the commercial field, Mike spent much of his time on high-speed supply vessels servicing offshore petroleum exploration. Mike graduated from Maine Maritime Academy with a degree in vessel operations and has been with M/Y Shogun since October of 2007, traveling between Mexico and Alaska. On the rare occasion that Mike hits the mainland he enjoys biking, boat restoration and is an avid downhill skier. Mike's broad maritime experience coupled with his strong work ethic and positive attitude will ensure your voyage aboard the M/Y Shogun is an exciting and memorable adventure. |

Stewardess: Patricia Pendergrast
Patricia was born in Connecticut and spent her summers sailing on Long Island Sound. After attending high school in Newport, Rhode Island Patricia headed to George Washington University and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Human Services. Following graduation she moved to San Francisco and fell in love with the West Coast. Two years later, after gaining experience in public relations and administration Patricia decided to travel and leave her desk job. Patricia did extensive traveling and volunteering around Southeast Asia before returning to California and getting involved in the yachting industry. Patricia's yachting experience includes working in the Bahamas, Mexico, and throughout California. Patricia loves cooking, diving, fishing, photography, and traveling. She will be sure to provide you "service with a smile" and a pleasant trip aboard M/Y Shogun.

Mate: Jordan Wells
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jordan started his maritime career at the age of 14 after spending his early years backpacking in the Olympic Mountains. Jordan started as a deckhand aboard a whale watching boat and later moved to luxury yachts. Jordan enjoys all aspects of his job including leading nature tours, helping you with a variety of water sports, or working in the engine room. This passion and desire has kept Jordan active in his career on the water for many years and he enjoys contributing to providing the best possible experience. Working on several different yachts over the years has given Jordan the opportunity to explore the Pacific from Alaska to Costa Rica and many areas in Southeast Asia. With a desire for travel and adventure Jordan has made the M/Y Shogun his home and life. With a devotion to M/Y Shogun and his love for the sea confirms that your time aboard will be an exceptional trip and the time of your life. |

Chef: Brandon Weiler
Brandon grew up and currently lives in St. Paul MN. He began his career in the kitchen at the age of 20 in fine dining restaurants such as the St. Paul Grill and California Cafe. Brandon graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Minneapolis in 2001. He then headed to Palm Beach Gardens to work at the prestigious Lost Tree Village Country Club. After returning home, he was the sous-chef at Biella restaurant and later accepted his first Executive Chef position at the Vintage where he ran the kitchen for over a year. That is when he was struck by the want to work on yachts. He accepted his first position on a 112' Westport Gale Winds, later mixing between freelance and permanent positions all on charter yachts such as Cocktails and Missy BII. Chef Brandon credits his travel for the major influences in his cuisine, sourcing local ingredients wherever that may be. He is an avid mushroom hunter, enjoys fishing, skiing, fruit and vegetable carving, and hiking. Yachts have taken Brandon from Maine to Alaska and all spots in between in his more than five years on the water.

2nd Stewardess: Tara Manley
Tara was born in the Midwest where she grew up enjoying summers on her grandfather's boat doing water sports and fishing. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with degrees in International Relations and Spanish and a teaching certificate from I.T.C. in Barcelona, Spain. While living and teaching in Costa Rica, she met her husband and began helping him on the sport fishing boat that he captained. They made the move from sport fishing to yachting together, and have had the opportunity to travel throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Latin America, U.S., and Southeast Asia. Her yachting education includes the STCW '95, Stewardess Master Course, and Introductory Sommelier Course. She is currently based out of San Diego, where she and her husband bought their first home, a 34ft San Juan sailboat. She is looking forward to making your adventure on M/Y Shogun comfortable and enjoyable.
