Vancouver is a spectacular city, and is adjacent to some of the world's best cruising
grounds. While a sailing charter can start in Vancouver, most guests choose to
fly or ferry to board in a different location to reduce the distances covered
underway, and for more time enjoying prime cruising areas. For the BC
Gulf Islands, sailing across the Straight of Georgia is about 20 miles of
open water. Heading north, the next area is the BC
Sunshine Coast.
