WELCOME ABOARD

The Sea Mist is a 78 foot Knight and Carver custom built yacht. She’s equipped with top of the line stabilizers, ensuring a smooth ride even in choppy waters . This yacht is beautifully appointed with Koa wood trim and a 22 foot beam. The spacious interior and luxurious livability is comparable to a much larger vessel. With 3 private staterooms and 4.5 bathrooms spread over 3 levels, this is the ultimate choice for an unparalleled Alaska charter experience.

Staterooms are appointed with top of the line mattresses, generous down comforters and crisp Egyptian cotton sheets. Each has its own private in-suite bathroom, generous closet space and drawers allowing you to conveniently store your belongings. There are three suites in total; the Chinook Suite, Sockeye Suite and Coho Suite. The Chinook Suite boasts deluxe queen-sized pillow top bed, his and hers closets and an extra generous bathroom. Whatever your mood, there is a space to accommodate. Quiet reading nooks, out-door sunning, cocktails and music with friends. There are plenty of spaces to have fun with the rest of the guests or get away for some quiet time.

The main salon is a spacious common area that doubles as the primary dining area for dinner service. There’s a monitor available for plugging in your devices to watch a movie, or you can even use it to view your photos or videos that you captured that day. Wrap around windows allow you to always keep your eye on the water and maybe even catch a sunset whale-breaching show.

SAFETY
Your safety and comfort are our first priorities. We are a USCG 5-star certified vessel, meaning we have exceeded the Alaska USCG requirements for passenger safety. Once aboard the vessel, we will provide you with a thorough safety briefing including an overview of our safety features, ensuring all aboard feel comfortable with what to do in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Chinook Suite
The Chinook has top of the line mattresses, generous down comforters and crisp Egyptian cotton sheets. This suite has one queen bed and one twin bed. This luxurious suite boasts a private en-suite bathroom, generous his and hers closet space and drawers allowing you to conveniently store your belongings.

Sockeye Suite
The Sockeye has two twin beds. Both with generous down comforters and crisp Egyptian cotton sheets.
This suite has its own private en-suite bathroom, generous closet space which allow you to conveniently store your belongings.

Coho Suite
The Coho Suite has two twin beds. Each bed has generous down comforters and crisp Egyptian cotton sheets.
This suite has its own private en-suite bathroom and closet space to store your belongings.



RATES

USD $9,900 per night, with a 4 night minimum, for up to 6 guests.

Included : Yacht, 3 crew, fuel, meals, beverages, beer and house wines.

Not Included : Customary crew gratuity at your discretion (15% advised for a stellar experience), hard liquor, and fishing licenses.

When Cruising Prince William Sound
Arrival: arrive by charter seaplane flight (from Anchorage, estimated additional cost approximately $2,300) to a remote bay to start, or arrive by vehicle or train to Whittier Alaska to start (not included).
Departure: Charters end in Whittier, Alaska. Transfer to Anchorage by vehicle, train or charter seaplane (not included).



SAMPLE ITINERARY - Prince William Sound

Day 1: Fly into a calm cove by charter float plane from Anchorage (approximate cost $1,500.00) and board the yacht. Meet your crew, settle in and enjoy dinner and cocktails. Alternately, board in Whittier.

Day 2: Cruise up College Fjord watching for majestic glaciers and abundant marine life. Explore Esther Passage, then anchor in Waterfall Cove.

Day 3: Cruise to Esther Bay. Kayak and/or beach exploration, then anchor for the night.

Day 4: Cruise to Perry Island. Visit the local Oyster Farm and pick up fresh oysters for lunch. Cruise to Eshamy Lagoon to anchor overnight.

Day 5: Cruise to Surprise. Perhaps it's a great day for a hike or paddleboarding?

Day 6: Leisurely cruise back to Whittier




Our Crew
You will board the Sea Mist at one of our many ports of call and get acquainted with the captain and crew. After a welcome cocktail and tour, the adventure begins. Each trip is unique and tailored to our guests.






Captain / Owner Jeff Gorton
With Captain Jeff at the helm, you will always have “locals only” access to some of Alaska’s greatest hidden gems. A lifelong Alaskan, Jeff has been navigating these waters for decades. He started his ocean career at a young 15 years old, running local boats and working local lodges. He purchased his first ocean vessel five years later, spending the next two decades cruising around the Prince William Sound and Southeast Alaska. Jeff is a recent retiree who worked in the North Slope oil fields for 15 years. During his career, he would spend his two weeks on the oil fields working and his two weeks off boating. Over the course of time, Jeff has led various river floating trips and fishing charters. He currently holds a 50-Ton USCG Master’s License and is both CPR and First Aid certified. Born in Montana, Jeff moved to Alaska at one year old. He has lived in Anchorage ever since. He has three boys, a 20-year-old, a 17-year-old, and a 12-year-old, who also share his love of the sea.



Stewardess Kate Boudreau
Kate was born in Olalla, Washington along the Puget Sound where she spent the first 10 years of her life developing a strong sense of adventure. After years of moving around the West Coast she moved with her mother and sister to Atlanta, Georgia where she attended high school and university. Kate has worked in restaurants and hotels gaining skills in hospitality as well as developing her skills as a freelance photographer. Shortly after graduating with her Bachelor’s in Advertising and Photography, Kate decided that she really wanted to begin a career in the yachting industry and has now been thriving in it for 2 years. She works hard and loves learning new things. In her free time, Kate enjoys traveling, hiking, running, and being in good company.
